Jewish influencer Ben Shapiro has once again confirmed an important post-conciliar truth: that Vatican II was the event par excellence that transformed Catholicism into something kosher. As an ardent Zionist and observant Orthodox Jew, Shapiro would be able to confirm such things.
On a podcast released on September 12, Shapiro yet again opened up the Mossad playbook and warned his American audience about how Islam is “incompatible” with the West. While doing so, he predictably attempted to link Protestants, Jews, and Catholics as a unified force.
“There was never an Islamic Reformation like there was a Protestant Reformation. No institution within the Islamic world offered any form of moderation the way Vatican II shaped Catholicism, or centuries of [how] Rabbinic interpretation shaped Judaism,” he said.
It is worth noting before anything else that Shapiro mentions the Protestant Reformation and Vatican II in the same breath. Whether he realizes it or not, those events were inspired by the same diabolical revolutionary spirit against the true Church of Christ. Instead of winning support from Catholics for speaking about them, Shapiro is showing how clueless he is by holding up the two most destructive events ever conducted against the Catholic faith.
Shapiro’s remarks are a bald face attempt to rally Catholics and Evangelicals into an alliance with Jews against Muslims to ensure Zionist power in the West continues. He has done this before on his show and during podcasts with Fox News commentator Mark Levin. On a recent program, Levin called for Islamists and communists to be barred from serving in the US government, while saying nothing about Zionists who put Israeli interests before American interests being denied the same privilege. Jewish Zionist Laura Loomer also relentlessly warns her U.S. viewers about jihad and terrorist attacks, which serves as a psychological fear mechanism.
Implicit in Shapiro’s comments is that Islam is fundamentally an enemy of Catholics and Protestants because it hasn’t, as they have, adapted to modernity. “No institution within the Islamic world offered any form or moderation the way Vatican II shaped Catholicism,” he said.

But this is to forget that the Church has always stood firmly against the false arguments of each age. In the 19th century, Pius IX and Vatican I denounced the Enlightenment project and its attendant errors. The Church undertook similar efforts with the Council of Trent in the 1500s. Would Shapiro have words of praise for those events or for the Church before Vatican II? Of course not. Why? Because Judaism is not compatible with Catholicism and Western Civilization.
It wasn’t until the Modernist aggiornomento campaign of the 1960s where the “moderation” that Shapiro speaks of actually occurred. He is no doubt pleased with Vatican II because its reforms served to advance Jewish interests. Integrity Magazine contributor Alexander Poe has ably covered those changes in a recent YouTube video:
Kosher Catholicism at the Council
Vatican II, primarily its document Nostra Ataete, put great emphasis on the Church’s relationship with the Jewish people — importantly failing to make the distinction between pre-Christian and post-Christian Judaism, the latter of which is a blasphemous denial of Christ. Nostra Aetate consequently prohibited presenting Jews as “rejected or accursed by God,” while condemning antisemitism without providing a definition for it and calling for unregulated Jewish-Catholic dialogue.
It is a well-documented fact that Jules Isaac, a Jewish historian born in France in 1877, met with John XXIII in 1960 and urged him to reconsider traditional doctrines on collective Jewish guilt and on what Isaac called the Christian “teaching of contempt.” John XXIII capitulated and charged Cardinal Augustin Bea with preparing a text concerning the Jews, which eventually became §4 of Nostra Aetate.

Whereas before the Council, Catholic clergy understood that Jews needed Christ and conversion; afterward they started talking about Judaism as if it were on par with the one true faith and shared an “enduring relationship with God.”
The mere fact that Ben Shapiro had given his imprimatur to post-conciliar Catholicism is yet another sign of the disastrous fruits of the wicked Vatican II Council.
