I guess the Republican Party just wasn’t blessing Israel enough.
The historic “extinction level event” the GOP suffered at the hands of American voters Tuesday occurred for one simple reason: President Trump broke his campaign promise to not start any new wars.
Democrats now have massive majorities in both the House and Senate. They would be foolish to see their newfound power as a mandate to enforce woke, leftist, anti-Catholic policies. They were sent to Washington not because they ran on a forward-looking agenda for the country, but because voters had no other way to express their immense frustration with Trump and his team.
If Democrats tackle the issues voters are upset over — the Iran War, inflation, immigration, etc. — they will setup their nominee in 2028 for an easy victory, and maybe even beyond. If they don’t, and they spend large amounts of time on impeaching Trump, they may lessen their candidate’s chances. At this point, it looks like Governor Gavin Newsom, Georgia Senator John Ossoff, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Pete Buttigieg may all be in the mix.
The smartest thing J.D. Vance could do right now if he wants to run for president is to start an alliance with the likes of Tucker Carlson, Thomas Massie, and Marjorie Taylor-Greene. The longer he stays in the administration, the more the stench of Trumpism will ruin his chances. Note well that this is not an endorsement of Vance, nor any candidate.
Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and other Zionists who are probably mulling a 2028 bid right now would also need to make moves sooner rather than later, with Rubio needing to step down as Secretary of State in the near future if he wants to have a shot, though even that may not be enough as he is tied to Miriam Adelson and AIPAC. Florida’s Ron DeSantis has been making waves already. He will likely be filing paperwork soon enough.
Putting Israel first has consequences
Simply put, Trump learned the hard way that starting wars for the Jewish lobby and Israel has consequences. MAGA is dead now because he allowed himself to be lead around by Benjamin Netanyahu, the man who immediately betrayed him after the 2020 race. It will take a decade for the GOP to recover from this defeat.
In brief, Jewish lobby groups and influencers like Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, and Laura Loomer kosherized the conservative movement to push Trump into war for Greater Israel. They told their viewers that it wouldn’t matter. They said the midterms wouldn’t be a referendum on the conflict. They were wrong.
In believing their lies, Trump destroyed his America First legacy and betrayed the coalition he built from the ruins of the Obama/Bush era. Now, someone else can come along and run against Trump the way he ran against George Bush in 2015.
Republicans and abortion
Infamous Traditional Catholic blogger Chris Jackson went to the mat for the GOP this year. One has to wonder if he was being paid given the volume of X posts and articles he was producing to promote Republicans — after all, no one does that much work for “the love of the game.” Embarrassingly, some of his posts were receiving a paltry one and two likes.
On social media, Jackson relentlessly shamed anyone who called out the GOP’s weak stance on abortion. He even denounced CatholicVote, which pulled its endorsement of Michigan GOP Senate candidate Mike Rogers for backtracking on the issue. He then said you can’t call yourself a Catholic if you don’t support Rogers. This is patently absurd and not in alignment with the Church’s moral teachings.
It is worth reiterating that Rogers, like many GOP politicians, is hardly “pro-life.” He and others simply pay lip service to defending pre-born children while backing show votes and watered down legislation on the matter, all while approving weapons for Israel that are used to commit genocide in Gaza and elsewhere. Don’t tell me this is a political party dedicated to protecting innocent life.
What’s more, in Minnesota, GOP Senate candidate Michelle Tafoya came out as “pro-choice.” Chris needs to apologize for accusing Catholics who didn’t vote for such persons of committing a mortal sin.
Voting for the lesser evil?
At this point one has to wonder which party is truly worse. At least the Democrats are open about their diabolical policies. The GOP, however, tells you they support “Judeo-Christian values” all while passing bills that are at directly odds with Church teaching.
This has become normative today because modern politics is simply the fruit of the Protestant Reformation. Rationalism, naturalism, and secularism have caused society to drift further and further away from what is objectively good. This has resulted in a decline in morality that has led to the four sins that cry to heaven for vengeance being enshrined into law in many Western countries. In simple terms, yesterday’s “greater evil” has simply become tomorrow’s “lesser evil.” Neither party, at least at present, is committed to stopping this.
The late Bishop Richard Williamson knew well the problems with contemporary politics. Less than one year before his passing in 2025, he wrote the following: “many democratic elections in modern times show the right-wing conservatives to be conserving relatively little, while the revolutionaries are all the time gaining ground on the left.” How right he was.
The two-party system
The main problem with American politics right now is that there is no real choice that citizens are allowed to make that will change things for the better. The system is more or less rigged by a duopoly controlled by the Republican and Democratic parties, both of which are beholden to AIPAC and other powerful lobby groups that basically see the U.S. as an economic zone as opposed to a country with a distinct heritage and culture.
The only option voters truly had to express their anger with Trump this week was to either not vote for the GOP or to support the Democrats. Anyone thinking that this arrangement mens America is a “democracy” needs to be disabused of this notion.
Young white men refused to vote for the GOP in great numbers this year. This doesn’t mean that they supported the Democratic Party’s agenda. They simply wanted to teach the Republicans a lesson about running sub-par candidates that refused to cater to their interests. The pain the party is suffering right now is necessary, or so the young men argue, in order to force the long-overdue conversation about creating a political movement that will truly help save the country.
Ultimately, voting for the “lesser of two evils” is a degrading democratic ritual. The civic duty of Catholics, especially men, is meant to be far nobler than turning out to support the crumbs presented by the GOP to the public every two years. Catholics in centuries past went on crusades, defended their homelands from invaders, ousted usurpers from the throne, and died as martyrs for the true faith. Our ancestors would not subject themselves to pantomime elections that change hardly anything. Nor would they allow it to continue.
The Dispatch
The problem with Liberal Democracy
Liberal democracy has never really supported authentic freedom or choice. It privileges political parties that oppose illiberal projects such as the Kingship of Christ. It also sets boundaries on acceptable speech while inculcating its ideology through the media, civil institutions, and so on.
What you are really given in such a system is the mere ability to express your dissatisfaction with the current ruling class through the system’s chosen control mechanisms. In the case of the United States, this is done through the Republican and Democratic parties. In truth, this is nothing more than being given permission to complain about who rules over them every to years, while the edifice of the system remains in place.
Catholics in centuries past dedicated their lives to upending unjust realities such as this. Will Traditionalists in the 21st century do the same or will they accept their relegated status as second-class citizens who are merely allowed to vote for controlled candidates every few years while the country continues to fall apart?
As X user Michael Pinay recently said: “Democracy was invented to vastly dilute accountability and to obfuscate who is actually pulling the strings of power and ruling the populace.” Indeed. Modern democracy is simply dictatorship by the media, communism by corporations, and government brought to you by AIPAC.
Traditionalists are stuck in the Matrix
After the midterms, many Traditionalists on social media rightly asked: What are those who didn’t vote for Republican going to do to change this? If the party system and liberal democracy is so corrupt, why don’t they run for office themselves?
First, everyone has a state in life that they must fulfill out of reverence to God before even considering such things. There is no duty to start a political project or run for office when millions of dollars are needed to even begin to compete with the billionaire class that oversees those institutions. The first thing Catholics should do is to make a difference in their sphere of influence. Only after that can larger change occur.

But the questions posed above deserve more attention. It seems to me that those who are especially furious at those who didn’t blindly support the GOP’s candidates this time around are merely lashing out as a sort of psychological defense mechanism that reinforces the post-World War II left-right paradigm.
Here is what I mean by that. At present, there exists a sort of civil religion that conservative Americans, especially Catholics, rely on when it comes to understanding politics. It goes something like this:
America is the greatest country in the history of the world. 1776 was the start of a new era for mankind. Everything that came before it is useless and must never be thought of again. World War II is the seminal moment through which all politics must be viewed. The Republican Party has stood against communism, socialism, and radical Islam. It is one of if not the only defenders of Western Civilization that is capable of restoring the United States to its glory.
The problem with this is that it leaves out the Catholic Church completely. Now, why is that?
The primary reason, or so it seems, is the Second Vatican Council joined with the modern political project when it adopted personalism, tacitly approved pluralism, and embraced liberal, rights-based language. 60 Minutes correspondent Ross Douthat wrote about this years ago when he said: “The Council Fathers ingeniously baptized [James] Madison and [Alexander] Hamilton into an honorary Catholicism, suggesting that the Founding Fathers had been, in their understanding of church-state relations and of the rights of conscience, more Catholic than some popes.”
The Church of Democracy
The effect of this was that Catholics first were placed within the fishbowl of contemporary liberal/conservative politics, as opposed to remaining outsiders waring against modernity in order to replace it with the Kingship of Christ.
In other words, Catholics, even Traditional Catholics, started thinking as Americanists first. As such, they came to believe that voting straight ticket GOP every few years is what fulfills their duty of improving the common good. Any Catholic who doesn’t do this is seen as an apostate who has failed to offer their pinch of incense in the Church of Democracy.
This must be put into context in light of the 2025 conclave. In the months that followed that event, Traditionalists rightly rebuked Trad Inc. and the House Trad movement that sought to simply exist as a side chapel in the Conciliar Cathedral under Leo. They correctly identified the usurpers in the Vatican as promoting Liberalism and Modernism and denounced the semi-Trads who wanted to obtain their approval in order to have the Latin Mass.
Why, then, can’t these same persons see that the usurpers in the civil sphere are also guilty of promoting Liberalism and of preventing the restoration of the Kingship of Christ, but simply in the political order? Why have so many of these persons — most especially Chris Jackson — throw their support behind the GOP when it is merely the political equivalent of the controlled opposition conservatives in the Conciliar Church?
The inability to think and act coherently on this, and to not understand the monopoly Liberalism has over both the Conciliar Church and State only confirms the extent of how deep modern errors have infected the minds of otherwise right-thinking Catholics.
Catholic Action
Catholics must resist being funneled into the modern left-right paradigm. They must become reacquainted with the great anti-liberal Catholic thinkers of the past while reading papal documents on politics, philosophy, doctrine, Church teaching, and the like. Their mindset must be Christ vs. anti-Christ, not Republican vs. Democrat.
Catholics must also have a firm understanding of foundational principles. Pushing Trad slop, outrage culture, and continuing to support Republican Party politics as usual isn’t a solution. The Liberal Matrix that has enveloped the Conciliar Church and the modern political system is one and the same and both need replacing.
This is why Integrity was launched in the first place. Trad Inc. failed to deliver for decades. It has not acted as a true opposition force to the Modernist revolutionaries and squatters in the Vatican since the 1960s.
So, too, has the GOP failed to conserve anything of substance. Just like how Trad Inc. had to be (and was) destroyed following the 2025 conclave largely thanks to Integrity’s counter-revolutionary movement, a similar effort now seems to be rising in the political domain against the Republican Party.
