Integrity Magazine is excited to announce a new podcast debuting this Friday, July 31 at 8:00pm (EST) on the Integrity Magazine YouTube channel.
Church & State will provide engaging and intelligent Catholic commentary on current events in both civil and ecclesiastical domains.
For too long, commentators have focused on either politics or Church matters. What has not been appreciated is the intimate connection between the revolutionary crisis in the ecclessial order that was ushered in by Vatican II and the revolutionary crisis in the State brought about by the plague of modern errors.
Co-hosts and areas of expertise
Integrity editor American Reform will host the program and will be joined by two Integrity contributors, Christian Bergsma and Alexander Poe.
Bergsma has appeared on several Integrity podcasts already to discuss creationism and Biblical Modernism. He has also published multiple essays on Church history, Scripture studies, and Vatican II.

The Dispatch
Poe is a philosophy student who operates the Poe Choice of Words Substack blog while also overseeing a YouTube channel that has surged to over 15,000 subscribers. He has previously interviewed Fr. James Mawdsley, Integrity co-founder Stephen Kokx, E. Michael Jones, and many others.
Each panelist brings a set of skills and perspectives that, while unique, are faithful to Catholic orthodoxy. They will engage in lively conversations on topics mainstream commentators and traditional Catholic influencers have long considered taboo.
While striving to be, above all, an educational program, the hosts plan to interact with viewers and to take on challenging questions that aims to be an entertaining experience.
Invariably, the primary audience for Church & State will be young Catholic men. However, this is not to say that others will find it uninteresting or that they should be discouraged from watching. In fact, Integirity hopes that the exact opposite will be true.
First episode topics
Now is the perfect time to set a reminder for this week’s show Friday, July 31 at 8pm EST and to start thinking about questions you may have for American Reform, Christian Bergsma and Alexander Poe. For the first program, they will cover:
- The viral Rod Dreher and Jeremy Boreing interview on post-liberalism and US politics.
- Austin Franco’s interview with Piers Morgan and Jewish cancel culture.
- Matt Fradd’s conversation on “sedevacantism” with conciliar theologian Dr. Jacob Phillips.
We look forward to seeing you in the comment section.
